at age sixteen with honors. I never belonged to any sports teams or clubs because I always worked after school.

Well, it wasn’t all work for the two Sonnys! Sonny Levine (right) and I took time to cool off one summer afternoon in the 1930s. He was an army pilot and was later killed in action over Germany in WWII.
