Fri. 1/27/39: Had final exam today. Spanish test and it wasn’t as bad as expected. Took the 1:40 car home to L.A. and sat with Sybil, Pam and Gloria. They smoked but I didn’t ‘cause it makes me sick. Went home to my Dad’s house in Hollywood and didn’t see him. Didn’t go roller skating with Lil, Jerry and Joe because the boys were in an accident and only the car was hurt. Went out with George, Laurie and Julie instead. Went to the beach and had a perfect time. Got home about 12:30.
Sat. 1/28/39: Met Lil, Jerry and Julie on Hollywood Blvd after Dick Chester, who I met at a military dance with our school, drove me to the Blvd. Bought a cute black dress, hat and stuff. Went to a party at night withGeorge,JulieandLaurieandhadamarveloustime. Dancedallnight and then went with George to visit Jack, the Bell Boy at KFVD. Came home late but had a perfect time.
